About
Richard Payne is a professional full time photographer currently working in three fields; photojournalism, Advertising and Events. After completing a certificate IV in photoimaging at Ultimo Tafe in Sydney, I freelanced for various studios including Blumenthal, Milk & Honey, Justin Mackintosh. I also started my own business "Richard Payne Photography" specialising in weddings, events, advertising and portraits. Since November 2009 I have been a regular freelancer at Torch Publishing in West Sydney working for 4 weekly newspapers: Bankstown Torch, Canterbury Torch, Auburn Review and the Valley Times.

Publishing
I publish two art based photography magazines "Truth Magazine" and "RP Magazine". The Truth Magazine started off as a way to publish my own work but has evolved into a magazine for other photographers from all over the world to publish their work in. I curate the magazine and do the layout and design work. RP Magazine is my own personal work.
